I needed a new chair for my home office and this was the first chair I ran across and the only chair I looked at as I loved the look, many features & the size! In my haste to order- I neglected to notice the chair was VELVET! Imagine my delight when I opened the box! I followed the tips from other reviewers (along with the manual) so it was fairly easy to put together. I've not yet figured out how the chair rocks but if all else fails I will call NeckFort & ask. I spend all day in this chair as I attempt to get a law passed in memory of my child to save lives. Should my state ever Enact Kelli's Law- know that you all helped!! I really like this chair! It was easy to assemble and is comfortable. I am 5'6" and it is a little bit tall for me (my feet are just barely flat on the floor on the lowest setting) but a foot rest will help.

Love love love!! So happy with the purchase. Easy to put together and so comfy! It had everything I was looking for tilt, size, cushion and best of all the arms flip up so I can have it both ways! Not too mention the price is great!

Love this chair! Very comfortable! The brown goes very good with my antique wood desk. It was a little difficult to put together but did it by myself. I am very pleased with it and wish I had the same chair at work!

I spend a lot of time at my desk and need a comfy chair. I bought this because the seat cushion in the photo looked plush. In fact, it's hard as a rock. Also, the arm placement would be good -IF- I were a "wide" person...but because I'm not, they're placed too far out for me. I AM, however, short, and the height of this chair, at the lowest setting, is a tad too high for my legs to comfortably touch the floor and cuts me off at the knees. Last, assembly instructions are AWFUL but I eventually got it together. In the end, I was not able to get the chair to raise or lower.

I find this chair to be comfortable and soft. It was very easy to assemble (about 10 minutes.) My 4 star rating is the color of grey was more of a soft blue. I would have returned it for a different color but my son had already started the assembly process. Otherwise it is very nice.

One of the holes on the arm rest did not line up during what should have been an easy installation. It took me one full hour to put this together & should have taken 20 minutes. Two people might have eased the job some... Instructions are useless...if you are not experienced with assembling boxed items...better get some help. However...the chair is very comfortable & a major improvement from what I had.

Just finished assembling NeckFort Velvet Back Chair. Very explicit instructions, one page, not a novel. One tool ( supplied ) for putting all the parts together. Very good design. I’m 6’2”, 250 lb. and love my comfort zone. Forget the suggested hourly usage, you can easily spend the whole day ( or night ) in it. Durable and aesthetically appealing. Very happy with the purchase. One more thing, the Customer Service’s attitude and professionalism should be acknowledged in the positive way.

I just recently moved into a larger apartment as I need more space to work in post-COVID pandemic work environment. Though we have returned to the office, but only on a part time basis - typically 2-3 times per week. This means I have to work from home quite often, and I have been looking for some executive velvet chair to make my work at home more comfortable than my old one. Looking around on the Internet, and I recently came across this NeckFort Velvet Office Chair, to go along with my brand new computer desk. Initially, I was really afraid, as out-of-box experience was pretty daunting seeing all the parts and screws that came out of the shipping package. I was thinking, it's going to take me at least a week just to put it together. However, if you just stay with it and look & follow the assembly directions, it took me about an hour to put it together. And once I put it together, the chair is everything I wanted for my home office. I wanted something that was more home furniture than “office” furniture. It is made of quality materials. Because it's especially ergonomically designed, despite having years of lower back pain, I find it so comfortable to sit in and functional with arms that can be raised in order to sit closer to the desk. The assembly is easy, the chair pretty and its padding soft and supportive. The flip-up arms allow the chair to slide into the kneehole of my desk when I am not using it which is a benefit in my small office area. The negatives of the chair are the seat is about 2" too high for a person of my height (5'4"). I am using a footrest on the floor so the chair is comfortable with that addition. The chair did not come with information as to operation of it so it took me a bit of time to discover how to recline it and lock the change for safety.

This easy to assemble office chair is both attractive and very comfortable to sit in. My home office is compact and the flip-up arms allow the chair to slide under the desk top to make the office roomier when I am not in the chair. The cushions are very plush and comfortable and the gray color is elegant. It comes with an allen wrench to tighten the 12 screws used to assemble the chair when following the very clear instructions. They even include a pair of white cotton gloves to use as it is assembled to avoid fingerprints on the chrome surfaces. Total assembly time less than an hour. One note on the carton to follow is not to use a knife to cut open the carton since the seat and back cushions are arranged close by and you don’t want to damage them with a knife while cutting the packing tape. I really recommend this chair!

This is a beautiful and well made chair. It was super easy to put together and even came with white gloves you can wear to prevent scuffing or marking up the chair while assembling it. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the fabric retains heat and if I don’t have my A/C on and a fan blowing on me, I’ll start to get hot and sweaty sitting in the chair. Im not naturally a sweaty person so I know I can blame it on the chair, ha! It provides good lumbar support, the arm rests can move up out of the way, and you get a full 360 degree swivel which are all features I think are great in an office chair. I can sit in it for up to 5 hours and feel well supported.

Since i am a larger woman i needed a chair that would be comfy and fit me. For reference I’m over 400 lbs and I can sit comfortably in this chair. It does all of those things especially with the adjustable arms. The only thing is the cushion might be too attractive for your cat to sit on it haha

Chair is exactly what I expected. It was easy to assemble, for the most part. The arms were the trickiest part but I was alone. Might be easier with 2 people. I've been using the chair for 8 hrs work days for 3 weeks and I am pleased with it. It also looks very nice

I’m actually quite surprised at this chair I have never ordered an office chair online before so I was a little skeptical. However when it came it was easily assembled and is one of the most comfortable chairs I’ve owned. I have had four back surgeries so a good chair is essential. With the pushing of a lever the chair will stay straight up and down however you can switch that and it will recline almost to the point where it feels like you’re going to fall over but it doesn’t , so comfortable when your back needs that break for a minute. Leather feels a nice quality is soft I would definitely recommend this chair. I should note I am 220 pounds so I’m not a tiny person and it works great

Bought this a few weeks ago and have been using this chair for a while. As a college student, it is an awesome chair where I can comfortably sit on it and do my homework. In addition, it is easy for me to raise and lowers the chair without any difficulty. One of the good things that this chair has the others don't is that I can flip the arms upward in order for me to practice my guitar more comfortably. Overall, I am satisfied with this chair.

First of all, this chair is very well-made. Very firm and sturdy. Easy to assemble. One minor issue was the back of the chair was little too steep for leaning back and resting for long time but it is great for the office work. Maybe it's just I have a bad sitting position. Anyways, their customer service was also excellent. Very quick and reliable. They resolved my issue very quickly, and I am completely satisfied.

Assembly instructions could have been just a little better. Attach the arms to the upper back section first, keeping screws loose, then to the seat. I did this in reverse and had to undo. Other than that, pretty simple. In terms of comfort, I find the chair leans me slightly forward, mores so than other office chairs I have used. In terms of sturdiness, time will tell. There seems to be some clicking noise(s) at time when I fidget around. Not sure if this is normal or not. Though I have not experienced this with other office chairs. For these reasons, I give this chair a 4 star rating. The leather chair and metal base would bring up the overall rating to a 4.25 to 4.5 in my opinion.----(update) Also, I wrote a negative review in late December. Customer service went well above and beyond to insure complete satisfaction. 10 star rating (5 stars times two) for exceeding

4 stars because this chair is pretty and very well made. It does lock into place at any reclining position which is very nice. It would be the perfect chair except that the back is too short. The headrest only comes to my shoulders. I'm not a tall person, just average at 5'5", so you would think it would fall right at my head or neck but nope. Falls squarely on my upper back forcing me to lean forward. I just locked the chair in a lean back position and don't lean back but if you are looking for something to rest your head in, this isn't it.
